KRISTINA LEAR - Writer and DirectorBorn and raised in Vermont, Kristina is a graduate of The Buxton School and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. She began work as an actress primarily developing new plays, originating roles in work by Paula Vogel, Joan Ackerman, David Mamet and others. She continues to work as an actress in theater, film, and television. Kristina is the Associate Artistic Director of The Echo Theater Company in Los Angeles, where she currently lives. In the spring of 2006, Kristina was awarded a grant and fellowship with the Directing Workshop for Women at AFI. COUGH DROP is her first film. |

JULIA DI ANGELO - Kate DeweyJulia was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and moved to the United States in 1997. She started acting at the age of 4 together with her older sister, Jasmine. Julia also has a younger brother, Jojo, who followed her footsteps into the entertainment business. In her free time, Julia loves to hang out with friends, swim, run, and play with her dolls. To finish off an amazing year where she booked the final episodes of Alias and Charmed, she just finished working on an episode of Nip/Tuck. Not to mention her wonderful learning experience working with Kristina Lear on Cough Drop, Julia can't wait to see her very first lead in a short film. |

DAVID WARSHOFSKY - Greg PiersonDavid Warshofsky grew up in Saratoga California and moved to New York at the age of twenty where he attended the MFA acting program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Over the past twenty-two years he has performed in a wide variety of venues from Broadway and studio movies to regional theatre , off-off broadway, television, and short film. Currently he lives in Los Angeles with his nine year old son Macgee. |

MARIN HINKLE - Rebecca DeweyMarin Hinkle currently appears as Judith on CBS's Two and a Half Men. She is also familiar to television audiences as Judy on Once and Again. She has guest-starred on numerous other television shows including ER, House, Without a Trace, In Justice, and Law and Order. Some of her film credits include Friends With Money, Dark Blue, I Am Sam, Final, Frequency, Milk and Money and the upcoming Fast Track and Turn The River. Her stage work includes Electra, The Tempest, A Thousand Clowns (on Broadway), and Miss Julie, The Dybbuk, Sabina, Romeo and Juliet, Uncle Vanya, As You Like It, Ghosts, The Cherry Orchard, etc., both Off-Broadway and regionally. Most recently Marin took over for the role of "Becca" in Rabbit Hole at The Geffen Playhouse. |

CYNTHIA GRANER - ProducerA graduate of Augsburg College and the American Film Institute, Cynthia interned for Wolfgang Petersen at Radiant Productions and worked in the Creative Development department at Warner Bros. At the AFI, she received a Hollywood Foreign Press Scholarship Award for her academic achievement. She has produced various shorts, commercials and recently finished shooting her second independent feature that is now in post-production. |

JAYSON CROTHERS - Director of PhotographyA graduate of Columbia College Chicago (Bachelor of Arts, with honors) and the American Film Institute (Masters, Cinematography), Jayson interned for Panavision Chicago in both their camera and lighting departments before interning with Tom Priestly, ASC, on the box office success BARBERSHOP.While attending AFI, Jayson was awarded their Scholarship for Excellence in Cinematography. He's photographed dozens of short films, commercials and documentaries, and recently completed shooting his seventh feature film. |

VINCENT ORESMAN - EditorVincent Oresman is a film editor whose feature work includes Vincent Gallo's " Brown Bunny" and Rob Nillson's "Nine at Night." Recent work includes Sian Heder's "Mother," winner of the 2006 Cannes Film Festival Cinefondation Competition as well as the Florida Film Festival and the Seattle Film Festival. He also co-edited the upcoming documentary "Bomb It," a worldwide history of graffiti art by director Jonanthan Reiss. His commercial credits include award-winning television campaigns for Hewlett-Packard and Nissan.A graduate in film from San Francisco State University, Vincent has directed and edited several films with the Los Angeles based Alpha 60 film collective as well as the award winning short, "A Formal Apology." |

THORSTEN LAEWE - ComposerThorsten Laewe was born in Munich, Germany and received his bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music, Boston. He started playing drums at 5 but the sound of the drums irritated his neighbors so much that he had to switch to Piano lessons soon thereafter.Thorsten started getting involved in music production at an early age when he entered the National Opera of Munich's Boys Choir at 9, singing in operas such as La Boheme, Carmen and Hansel and Gretel. After completing his studies at Berklee in 1999, he relocated to Los Angeles and started working as a jingle composer and programmer/mixer with artists such as Brandy, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Backstreet Boys and Luther Vandross. His mixing work on the feature film Stuart Little 2 opened the door to the world of film, something he had been fascinated with since his early teens. His recent work includes composing and mixing the music for the short film Cough Drop, collaborating with his friend Cliff Martinez as an additional composer and score mixer for the feature film Vice, composing music and theme for 2 cartoon network shows Zatch Bell and MegaMan and mixing the soundtrack for the #1 Nickelodeon Show The Naked Brothers Band. |

GREG PRESTOPINO - Music SupervisorGreg was born in Brooklyn, New York (who wasn't?), raised up and down the East Coast from New Jersey to New Hampshire and received a BA in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University. He has written hit songs for the likes of Celine Dion ("Show Some Emotion"), Natalie Cole ("Wild Women Do"), Puff Daddy ("Can't Nobody Hold Me Down"), Aaron Neville ("Beautiful Night"), Bette Midler ("Let Me Drive"), Jennifer Love Hewitt ("In Another Life") and Matthew Wilder ("Break My Stride"). Christina Aguilera, Matisyahu, Aaron Carter and Unique ll are also among the many artists who have recorded his songs. He has just written and sung the theme for the Cartoon Network's new #1 show, Zatch Bell. Greg has also played, sung and done vocal arrangements for the albums of several legends including Bette Midler, Bonnie Raitt, Ry Cooder, Maria Muldaur, Jennifer Warnes and Hal Wilner.His original music and his distinctive voice have graced such films as: Pretty Woman, The Rose, Pocahontas, Hercules, The Last Starfighter, The Man With Two Brains, Money For Nothing and Boulevard Nights. He has happily worked with Christopher Guest on several of his projects including The Big Picture and Attack of the 50ft Woman. He has written/sung/played on myriad television shows. As an independent record producer he has produced records for Warner Brothers, Elektra, and Atlantic, including Kate and Anna McGarrigle (Kate is mother to Rufus and Martha Wainwright) for Warners. As a staff producer for Elektra Records for three years, he produced acts as far ranging as Abraham Laboriel to Gabe Kaplan. He is currently producing The Giveaway Table. In 1998 he released his own CD of favorite compositions (co-produced by Andrew Gold) entitled big red nude. His music publishing / development companies (ufemizm music (ASCAP) / elliptic songs (BMI)) are a co-venture with Windswept Holdings. Ufemizm / elliptic prides itself on working with young writer-artists and being able to bring a writer's perspective to the business of music publishing. He has garnered six ASCAP awards, The National Academy of Songwriters Leadership Award and numerous gold and platinum records. |
